A Letterkenny man has appeared in court charged with allegedly committing offences in the town last week.
David Orr was brought before today’s sitting of Letterkenny District Court.
A 20-year-old of Glenard Park, Long Lane, Letterkenny, he was granted bail subject to conditions.
Orr is charged that on October 4, 2024, he entered a building at Ballymacool, Letterkenny with the intention to commit an offence,
He is also charged that, on a date unknown between October 3, 2024 and October 4, 2024, he caused criminal damage to a kitchen window of a property at Ballymacool, Letterkenny.
Detective Garda Bobby Carey gave evidence of the arrest, charge and caution.
Detective Carey told the court that Orr made no reply when charged at 12.19pm today.
Garda Sergeant Maurice Doyle said there was consent to bail, but gardai sought conditions to be attached.
Orr, who was represented by solicitor Mr Frank Murphy, was granted bail in his own bond of €100.
Legal aid was granted to Mr Murphy and Orr was remanded to appear again before Letterkenny District Court on November 4.
