A drunk man who went into a Donegal Garda Station and told Gardai their van was illegally parked outside has appeared in court.
Seamus Ward barged into Milford Garda Station and demanded Gardai move their patrol van from the footpath outside.
The 38-year-old was drunk and told Gardai that it would not be his fault if he bumped into it.
Ward, of Drumbern, Milford, refused to give his name and became aggressive with Gardai.
The accused was charged with causing a breach of the peace and also being intoxicated at Main Street in Milford on May 29th last.
His solicitor, Mr Kieran O’Gorman, said his client was apologetic and that alcohol was his problem.
Judge Eiteain Cunningham ordered Ward to make a €200 donation to the Donegal Hospice.
