A Drumkeen man is to stand trial in the Circuit Court for allegedly assaulting two people.
Rory Gildea appeared at Letterkenny District Court where Garda Gillian Page said she served the accused man with a book of evidence in the case.
Gildea, aged 31 and with an address at Forest View, Drumkeen, was sent forward for trial to the next sitting of Letterkenny Circuit Court starting on October 29th.
He faces a total of three charges.
He is charged that on October 8th, 2022 at Forest View, Drumkeen, he assaulted Shannon Duffy causing her harm.
The charge is Contrary to Section 3 of the Non-FatalOffences Against the Persons Act, 1997.
He is also charged that on May 7th, 2023 at Back Lane, Ballybofey he assaulted Shannon Duffy causing her harm.
This charge is also Contrary to Section 3 of the Non-FatalOffences Against the Persons Act, 1997.
Gildea is also charged that on the same date and place he did assault Oisin Fullen causing him harm.
The charge is also Contrary to Section 3 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Persons Act, 1997.
Judge Eiteain Cunningham applied the alibi warning granted legal aid as well as one legal counsel for is trial.
Bail was granted on the same previous terms but a previous signing-on condition and curfew were removed.
